Mexim started as a trading firm in 1987.
Set up our own manufacturing in an 8000 sq. ft. facility in Daman in 1995
Exported our first consignment of Tape to Nigeria in 1998
Moved to a 14000 sq. ft. facility in 2000, set up a solvent based tapes coating line.
Added a third coating line in 2004 for Acrylic Adhesive Tapes.
Expanded the same facility to 30000 sq. ft. in 2008, added a high-speed coating line and started the technical tapes division
Shifted all our burners from Furnace Oil to LPG gas based, thus becoming more eco-friendly in 2011. Gained flexibility of products manufactured, quality, shorter change-over time and cleaner emissions.
Installed a new-gen multi-purpose coating line with the facility to coat technical tapes
Installed a new coating line in 2017 for our first patented product self-adhesive water proofing tapes
